Merrill Lynch researched this article and showed that the only reason Europe is not increasing at the same rate as the wealthy in the U.S. is because they place restrictive income tax policies, which limit accumulating personal wealth. The U.S. will soon follow the lead of Europe.

Hi Paul it's Paul Buksbazen. I wanted to comment on the wealthy blog. What's surprising or wrong with the wealthy prospering and getting wealthier. It's not like there is a finite amount of money and they're hoarding it. Wealth is literally created!!!! Anyone that has a great idea adds to they're own wealth and the wealth of the nation. That's the genius of Capitalism. In America all you need is a great idea, and then investors line up with the capital to help you achieve your end product. That opportunity is not there in most other countries. The wealthy continue to get wealthier because they participate in win/win financial situations. If they invest in someone who loses, they lose too.
